The Somerstown Youth Performance Project |
Solent Peoples Theatre and Dot to Dot Arts worked with five groups of young people from Somerstown, an
inner city area of Portsmouth, to create a large scale outdoor performance in the style of a Bmovie!!
The performance was framed within 'SomerFest' a community event which took place on the evening of
24th
July 2004.
The event also inlcuded a barbeque, stalls and a professional performance by SPT of Ball Games by
Phelim
Rowland.
The event was a huge success with over 300 local residents attending
