How Democracy Works ...
This workshop explores the concept of democracy, its history and the problems associated with its practice.
Particular emphasis is given to different voting systems (first past the post, proportional representation, single
transferable vote etc.)
The Demon Dilemma ...
The Demon Dilemma is a fast paced talk show style debate wich gives participants the chance to discuss issues
that matter. Working with your organisation we will assemble a panel of experts and stakeholders from your local
area to take part in the session.
Each Demon Dilemma session is based around a number of hypothetical (but realistic) dilemmas in which the
panel and audience are given the opportunity to interview witnesses, assess evidence and ultimately vote on
possible solutions.
